about

The inaugural Edmonton Bike Show comes to the Butterdome on the U of A campus this weekend. We were joined by Peter Hockenhull from Epic Outdoor Events who are putting on the event to find out more about this family friendly event that will see local stores, bicycle manufacturers and non-profits in the cycling world come together under one roof to help consumers learn more about what's happening in the world of bikes.

Karly Coleman, CJSR's bicycle traffic reporter, and her husband have recently built the first net-zero laneway home in Edmonton. She told us how a bicycle oriented life can lead to big decisions in the way you live, and build, to mitigate and minimize an individual's carbon footprint during their life time.
