Edmonton's Mayor, Stephen Mandel, says that the new bike routes are a "nightmare" after some businesses censure the decision to remove on-street parking in favour of bike lanes. We talked about how this language does nothing to improve biker-driver relationships, and look at some of the reasons that there is such animosity between the two groups (including altruistic punishment).

We encourage you to let your councillor know how you feel about more bicycle infrastructure. More on the plans:
